Cell Culture Kits
In order to perform different kinds of cell culture experiments quickly and easily, many kits are available with specific reagents, tools, and a protocol.Cell culture kits are important and particularly useful in primary culture.
Adipogenesis kits are used to estimate the adipogenesis process (a process where preadipocytes are transformed to adipocytes which store the energy in the form of fat) qualitatively and quantitatively by staining a suitable indicator like lipid droplets. Similar studies with regard to osteogenesis (the process of bone formation) can be done as well. Cell Culture Kits are available to stain melanocytes (melanin forming cells in the skin), hepatocytes (liver cells), to measure lactate dehydrogenase (released on the disruption of living cells) or to assay cells using neutral red which is taken up and retained by living cells. Cell culture Kits may be used to assay contents within the cells or activities with biochemical significance like for example, glutamine determination, alkaline phosphatase activity estimation or lipid peroxidation estimation.
