Centrifuge Tubes
Centrifuge tubes hold the liquid sample which gets separated by a centrifugation machine based on the density of the particles the sample contains. These tubes are also referred as Falcon or Conical Tubes. Depending on the size they hold different volumes of samples ranging from 15 ml to 50 ml and they fit in different types of centrifugation machines. Centrifuge tubes must balance each other with tightened cap for the machine to run smooth. They are made of breakage free autoclavable material and are available in both sterile & non-sterile versions. Generally centrifuge tubes with conical bottom are preferred, however, the option with round bottom is also available.
