AMPLIFYME SG No-ROX Mix AMO1-020 supplied by BLIRT is an SYBR Green (SG) based enzyme mixture used for fast and reliable qPCR / Real-time PCR. It is compatible with those PCR instruments that don't need ROX dye in the mix. This mixture is a ready-to-use, 2X Master Mix containing TaqNovaHS - a recombinant hot-start Taq polymerase and a highly specific monoclonal anti-Taq antibody. This antibody is bound to the enzyme preventing its activity at ambient temperature thus preventing primer-dimer formation at low temperatures during PCR setup. At the initial denaturation step, the antibody gets released from the polymerase allowing full DNA polymerase activity during standard cycling conditions.
