High grade CleanRoom Marker (black) is supplied by Micromaster. It is gamma irradiated for effective sterilization. This pen consists of a special ink formula which is quick drying, alcohol resistant and permanent. It is manufactured and packed in such a way that there is minimum contamination.

It is ideal for marking special CleanRoom and laminated papers in a dust free environment. It has been tested on almost all materials like, paper, cardboard, metal, glass and plastic. Marker pens, also known as fineliners, marking pens, felt-tip markers, felt-tip pens and flow markers have their own ink-source and a tip made of porous, pressed fibres like felt. A permanent marker consists of a container (glass, aluminum or plastic) and a core of an absorbent material. This filling serves as a carrier for the ink. The upper part of the marker contains the nib that was made in earlier time of a hard felt material, and a cap to prevent the marker from drying out. e ink is generally resistant to rubbing and water, and can last for many years. Depending on the surface and the marker used, however, the marks can often be removed with either vigorous scrubbing or chemicals such as acetone.
