Purification employs use of silica based spin columns. It enables rapid analytical scale preparation of high quality plasmid DNA.It can purify plasmids up to 10,000bp in size. Purification employs use of silica based spin columns. Each column has a binding capacity of 20g, and the typical purification yield is up to 15g from 1.5mL of plasmid. The purified DNA is free of genomic DNA, RNA and cellular proteins.
