Malaria Pv MSP-1 recombinant antigen is supplied by BHAT BIO-TECH.It is an E.coli derived recombinant Merozoite surface protein-1 of Plasmodium falciparum. reacts with antibodies to MSP-1 as determined by Western Blot. It is suitable for immunoassay development . Minimum batch to batch variability observed. Merozoite surface antigen is a protein located on the outside of the merozoite, playing an imperative role in immune reaction. Pv. MSP1 has to be used with Plasmodium falciparum (Pf) together for ELISA and rapid diagnostic test.
