balanced salts, L-glutamine and sodium bicarbonate. The medium is specially designed by Harry Eagle to meet the specific nutritional requirements of certain subtypes of HeLa cells and normal mammalian fibroblasts. Hank's salt mixture does not require CO2 air mixture as it is developed to equilibrate with air. Therefore cells can be grown in reduce CO2 or CO2 free environment.

Specifications: AL056A Minimum Essential Medium is a red colored, clear solution with in a PH range of 7.00 -7.60. Store at 2-8C away from bright light. Shelf life is 12 months. Each pack contains 500 ml of cell culture media.
