Nitrogen is an inert gas. It is abundantly used in laboratories and industries as part of analytics or production. It is used in food packaging and other industries where oxidation is not desired. In analytics, it is used in liquid and gas chromatography and is mass spectroscopy. Here, nitrogen is used for its inertness. In gas chromatography, nitrogen can be used as a carrier gas. The nitrogen generator manufactured by CLAIND is available in three models FLO, PICO and MAXI. Within these series toom there are several ranges of models. The models differ in the flow rate (ranging from 13.5 to 200 Nm/h) of the nitrogen that is provided. Individually, two versions of each generator are manufactured by CLAIND the L and H version. The H version is used to supply higher outgoing nitrogen flow rates as it works with higher inlet pressures. The nitrogen generator manufactured by CLAIND can be controlled using a microprocessor. The working parameters can be set using a membrane keyboard with alpha-numeric display. It also has an in-built oxygen analyser. A PSA technology is used to operate the Nitrogen Generator.The instrument is easy to use and required minimal maintenance. The operation of the instrument is simple and involves the use of a single push button to start the instrument. The following steps are displayed in the front panel. It does not need monitoring and runs autonomously 365 days. The nitrogen production is designed to be proportional to the stand-by mode. The CMS columns are available in light alloys.
