Optical Plate Seal is supplied by TARSONS. Optical Plate Seal is a one-time use adhesive seal that offers excellent sealing capabilities for various types of plates. Unlike pierceable seals, this seal cannot be pierced and must be removed after the PCR reaction. During thermal cycling, the heated lid of a thermal cycler applies pressure to keep the seal tightly closed. Opti-seal has outstanding optical properties that make it an ideal choice for Real Time PCR applications. It can withstand a temperature range of -20C to 120C.
