Proteinase K Molecular Biology Grade can be active under several reaction conditions including elevated temperatures and presence of SDS. The enzyme is broadly utilized for protein digestion including DNases and RNases digestion during nucleic acid preparations without the integrity of isolated DNA or RNA getting compromised. Proteinase K Molecular Biology Grade is free of exonucleases, endonucleases, and ribonucleases. It is expressed in Pichia pastoris, and undergoes extensive purification to yield the highest quality product.
