qX+V Factor -DD022-1VL is referred as X+V Factor discs under Himedia catalogue. Each pack of qX+V Factor -DD022-1VL discs contains 50 discs per vial. EachqX+V Factor -DD022-1VL filter paper disc is of 6mm diameter with letter "X+V" printed on it in continous printing style. Each disc is saturated with growth factor x <(>&<)> V.

qX+V Factor -DD022-1VL discs are used to isolation of Haemophilus species in conjuction of V factor & X factor discs. Generally Brain Heart Infusion Agar (M211)or Blood Agar Base (M073) media plates are used for test.

Cultural response can be observerd after incubating plates at 35-37C for 24-48 hrs. the test organism that needs only X factor for growth will go in the vicinity of X factor and X+V factor discs. The organisms with requirement of only V factor will grow in the vicinity of V factor and X+V factordiscs. The organsims that require both the factors will grow in the vicinity of X+V factor discs.

Storage and shelf life: It is advised to store the discs always at 2 to8C after opening. The disc loses its stability at higher temperature (45C).
