Racked Filter Tips are supplied by TARSONS. These tips are used to prevent cross-contamination. These filters are made entirely from porous polyethylene that is hydrophobic, blocking any liquids or aerosols from entering the micropipette. They are especially suitable for biological applications and have excellent characteristics such as being non-cytotoxic, non-hemolytic, and having a Bacterial Aerosol Filtration Efficiency (BFE) of 99.9%. The tips themselves are manufactured from high-quality, ultrapure USP Class VI certified polypropylene that is free from DNase, RNase, and Pyrogen.
