These tips feature a unique hydrophobic design that allows liquids to easily roll off without any retention in the tips. The Maxipense tips are compatible with all popular pipettes, thanks to their universal crown size. The low surface retention of the Maxipense tips is achieved by modifying the surface of the polymer with a very low coefficient of friction, which is lower than PTFE. They also offer excellent chemical resistance and are unaffected by radiation or autoclaving. Moreover, they are free from detectable DNase, RNase, PCR inhibitors, and human DNA, making them suitable for sensitive PCR/Real time PCR reactions.
