Synta-RT L is an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase (reverse transcriptase) that synthesizes first-strand cDNA on a single-stranded RNA template. The enzyme is an in silico modified homologue of Moloney Mouse Leukemia Virus (MMLV) reverse transcriptase. It possesses notable catalytic properties and higher temperature of optimum activity. Isolated from Escherichia coli strain carrying a modified MMLV reverse transcriptase gene.Synta-RT L demonstrates increased thermal stability (the optimal temperature for reaction is 55-60C, the enzyme remains active at temperatures up to 65C).
