GeNei Hot StartTaq DNA polymerase (250 units) is molecular grade enzyme for molecular biology experiments such as DNA amplification. Some polymerase enzyme didnt show proper amplification as they can not bind properly. This can be avoided by adding an enzyme after the initial denaturation. Thus, now a days thermostable polymerases which remains inactive at lower temperatures at initial stages of PCR are used known as Hot start Taq polymerases. The enzyme remains inactive until the reaction mixture reaches higher temperature. Complete activation is restored after the initial denaturation step at 94C for 2-5 minutes, thereby providing an automatic Hot start for the enzyme. Genei HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase is be supplied with 10X buffer containing 15 mM MgCl or 10X buffer. It should be stored at -20-degree Celsius for long term use and activity of an enzyme. Avoid frequent freeze and thaw to maintain the stability of polymerase.
