A syphon / siphon by definition is a tube-like structure that draws liquid from a reservoir usually by suction or immersion into another reservoir at a lower level. A laboratory siphon is made of Low-density polyethylene and is easy to use and disposable. It is used in chemistry and life sciences laboratories. A Cork can be turned around to stop the process of siphoning. Because of LDPE, it is both flexible and tough at the same time. It offers good chemical resistance and is available in opaque and translucent forms.
