PR polymerase is a DNA polymerase enzyme used in mlecular biology experiments in PCR reactions. The enzyme has a good property of proof reading and is Thermostable. The enzyme carrys out amplification of the template DNA in the presence of Mg2+ ions. It has 3' to 5' exonuclease proof reading activity which helps in removing the mistakenly incorporated nucleotides thus reducing errors during the polymerization. The polymerase comes along with Assay Buffer (1X): Tris-HCl (pH 8.8), (NH2)4 SO, KCl, 2mM MgSO4, Triton X 100 and Nuclease free BSA. It should be stored at -20-degree Celsius for long term use and activity of an enzyme. Avoid frequent freeze and thaw to maintain the stability of polymerase.
