This Soyabean Casein Digest Medium is prepared in accordance with harmonized methods of USP, EP, BP, JP & IP.This medium is used for preparation of samples or test strains. Pancreatic digest of casein combined with papaic digest of soybean meal makes this medium nutritious by providing amino acids and long chain peptides for the growth of microorganisms. Soybean contains natural sugar which essentially promotes growth of fastidious organism. The buffer in the medium is glucose monohydrate. Sodium chloride affects the osmotic balance of the medium.
