Mixture of proteins loaded onto an agarose gel is allowed to migrate under the influence of an electric field. The rate of migration depends on various properties of proteins such as molecular weight and charge. Further, the separated proteins are allowed to interact with antibodies to characterize them. Mini Immuno-electrophoresis System is an apparatus which allows the user to perform immuno-electrophoresis in a convenient manner. The tank is made of an acrylic material.
