GenoDTech Covid19 + MERS real time PCR kit is an in vitro diagnostic test, based on Real Time PCR technology, two tube reaction designed for qualitative detection and differentiation of Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) and novel coronavirus (SARS Cov-2) specific RNA in nasopharyngeal, nasal & oropharyngeal swab samples. The human RNaseP gene serves as an internal control. The differential gene targets for Covid-19 (E & RdRp) and MERS (upE & ORF1a) with fluorescent detection dyes such as Cy5, FAM & HEX makes our kit highly specific, sensitive & compatible with commonly available PCR detection platforms.
