D2 Lamp for Waters ACQUITY UHPLC 2489/2998 is manufactured under the brand name for Cyberlab. This lamp is designed to suit the requirements of ultra high performance liquid chromatography. D2 lamp emits radiation within the wavelengths of 112 nm to 900 nm and forms a continuous spectrum within the ultraviolet spectrum. The deuterium arc lamp has a tungsten filament and an anode contained within in a nickel box. The lamp creates the ultraviolet light by the formation of an arc which connects the tungsten filament and the anode. This allows the D2 lamp to function as a gas-discharge light source.
