Sodium lauryl ether sulphate by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is a high grade reagent. Also known as Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), this is an anionic detergent and surfactant. The reagent is available as a white powder which is soluble in water. Sodium lauryl ether sulphate can be generated by ethoxylation of dodecyl alcohol. While it is stable under general conditions, this reagent is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
