Semi Dry Electrotransfer Unit is supplied by BHAT BIO-TECH. In electrophoretic transfer , the gel containing the separated sample is sandwiched between immobilizing membranes. When an electric field is applied, the separated molecules are transferred from the gel to the membrane, where they are bound and readily accessible for further analysis. Fast transferring speed and good transferring effect can be obtained through Semi Dry Electrotransfer Unit. Short transfer time and Small buffer volume is required. Large surface area is available for transferring large gels or several small gels.It requires low equipment maintainance.It is widely used for western blotting,nucleic acid transfer,northern and southern blottransfers,transfer of DNA and RNA using the unique agarose gel semi-dry blotting support frame.
