Synta-AP thermolabile alkaline phosphatase catalyzes the dephosphorylation of 5 and 3 ends of DNA and RNA, oligonucleotides, nucleoside triphosphates, as well as the dephosphorylation of proteins. Active in PCR buffer.Isolated from Escherichia coli strain expressing the alkaline phosphatase gene from Gadus morua.Reaction conditions: 10 minutes at 37C, 1 unit of Synta-AR.Reaction buffer (1x): 10 mM Tris/HCl (pH 8.0 at 25 C.); 5 mM MgCl2; 0.1 M KCl; 0.02% Triton X-100; 0.1 mg/ml BSA.Can be heat inactivated at 65C for 20 minutes.
